We just got our tshirts back from Babylon Burning — still warm from the press — with “Dodgeball 2009” emblazoned across the front in crisp black ink. It’s time to get our game faces on.
In four days, 200 San Francisco designers will descend upon Golden Gate Park for the 5th annual Bay Area Design Dodgeball Tournament. A typically reserved crowd, this day brings out a certain aggressiveness not seen during the rest of the year.
Having won the 2008 tournament, LUNAR will be hosting this year. We’ve got our resident DJ’s ready to drop the beats, SF’s finest links provided Zog’s Dogs, and names drawn for the first round of matches. Our spies on the nets tell us that the other firms have been practicing. Should be a fine showing this year!
