As an engineering intern, you will gain first-hand experience designing innovative products with our mechanical engineering, industrial design, and interaction design teams. Interns may interact directly with clients, contribute to concept, layout and part development, create prototypes, perform stress analysis, develop in-house procedures and tools, or study new technologies for future use.

Desired Skills

You must be highly self-motivated with achievements that demonstrate this. You should have a gleam in your eye, a hunger to learn and help, and an ability to communicate effectively. You must be currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering or product design program, and have already taken basic physics, engineering statics, and dynamics. You have hands-on prototyping experience and are comfortable modeling in 3D CAD (ProE or Solidworks a plus).

Summer internships are usually full-time for 3 months, with start/end dates flexible depending on your availability. You will be responsible for all of your living arrangements while working at our SF studio.
