I’ve been a mechanical engineer at Lunar for almost 7 years, as well as a project manager and the ME intern coordinator for a good portion of that time. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a number of interesting clients, coworkers, and products. They range from large corporations to small startups, hot-heads to introverts, consumer to medical to unclassifiable, parts as big as a monster truck wheel to those you can barely see. When I was living in Brooklyn, I had a neighbor with a crazy idea – to grow her own food in her apartment year round. I could see the vertical water bottles she used in her early attempt in her courtyard facing window whenever I took out the garbage. I thought to myself “Britta is crazy. That’s just not going to work.”
