Public transportation. Sigh. While those hailing from Los Angeles would argue that “at least we have public transportation,” the rest of us have our fair share of gripes with the system here in San Francisco. But is there a way to improve upon the experience or make it more user-friendly? We think it’s worth some thought.
Next week, March 22-26th, LUNAR will host its third design workshop with the Korean Institute for Design Promotion (KIDP). With a focus on San Francisco public transit, the LUNAR team will lead 15 Korean designers through a series of exercises that are built on our process and centered on our framework for research and user experience design. The designers will hit the streets for some real world research and will then analyze their findings to develop a design concept that addresses user needs in the public transit sector. The week will conclude with an exhibition of the group’s work.
