LUNAR designer, Junggi Sung, will be exhibiting his Ember lighting concept at this year’s International Contemporary Furniture Fair, a four day global design summit in NYC. He will be participating in the ICFF Studio, which partners with Bernhardt Design to shine the spotlight on stellar product concepts.
Ember came out of an internal initiative in which LUNAR designers were encouraged to explore a trend, then create their own and design an object or experience that helped tell their story. Taking note of the unadorned gestures of modern interior design, the Ember light plays with simple form and delightful detail. Ascending from the wooden chamber, a set of acrylic stems brighten as they become exposed. From a humble glow to a roaring blaze, you can temper the release of the light to fit the moment.
